Exploring Bauhaus Architecture and Human Perception Through a Modern Design Approach: A Poster for Sofar Sounds Tel Aviv

This project showcases a poster designed for Sofar Sounds Tel Aviv, an independent production company that creates intimate concerts for emerging artists. The brief for the project was to design a poster for an upcoming session with no limitations.

I paid homage to Tel Aviv's iconic Bauhaus architecture in the poster's design. The poster features a clean and modern design with a limited color palette and bold typography, tying in a funky 70's aesthetic to the storyline. The concept behind the poster is to reflect on humanity's tendency to glorify themselves during times of growth and the confusion that this creates. The astronaut reaching for a streetlight serves as a metaphor for the idea that humans can easily confuse a star with the light of a streetlight in the darkness of night.
